Case: Hines, Weston (A)

This case concerns a proposed project in Weston MA. Hines has proposed -- with a local landowner partner -- to develop a neglected quarry at the intersection of Routes 128/20 into an office complex. Some opposition in the town develops, and Hines must determine how to deal with this situation.

In this session we will trace the complex series of events, leading to the resolution of this situation.

The case consists entirely of several sets of newspaper clippings and other documents published as the case unfolds. Paul Messina has been a key player in this drama, and he will guide you through the events -- beginning with the site visit on Oct 18.
