| Friday, December 13 | The final exam has been posted in the feedback database. To take it, click here, open the By Category View, and click on the Final Exam button. The final is due in my office (Babson 324) no later than 9am, Thursday 12/19. You may submit via the Web/feedback discussion database if you wish. If you submit a paper copy, please include a copy on disk if you are answering Question #2. You may leave paper copies in the wall-mounted file pocket outside the CIMS office. Good luck, and best wishes to everyone for a happy holiday. |
| Tuesday, 1 October | I have changed the order of the class sessions somewhat by moving the process analysis introduction one week earlier and scheduling a database design workshop for October 8th. I think this will make for better continuity and give us a chance to discuss database design specifics in more depth. |
| Tuesday, 17 September | Some of you have mentioned using Access 2.0 instead of Access95. Where possible, I will provide database files in both formats. When we discuss database design and talk about homework assignments, I will try to discuss both versions. Comparing between the two will be useful in any case.
We will be using Horn 160 for the workshop tonight so you don't have to walk out in the rain. Will this nor'easter ever stop? Paper copies of the reading for next week will be available at the beginning of class. Extra copies of the first week readings will be available at the beginning of class. |
| Tuesday, 10 September | The syllabus says you have Malone and Rockart assigned for the first session. Don't worry about this. I will be handing the article out in class. Read it for background. We will refer to it later in the term, but you will not be required to memorize it for a test or anything like that. |
