William Naumes

Bill Naumes is Associate Professor of Management at the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire, where he teaches strategic decision-making for organizations of all sizes from small (entrepreneurship/small business) to large (strategic management) to international. He received a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Labor Relations and Masters in Business Administration from Cornell University. He received a Ph.D. in Business from Stanford University. He has written over one hundred cases and instructor's notes published in journals and more than one dozen texts, including seven of his own books. His research is in the areas of Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, and Corporate Social Responsibility.
Professor Naumes has participated in numerous case workshops and case review panels throughout the world. He served as Editor of the Case Research Journal, and continues to actively review cases for several organizations. Bill has also served as the Program Chair, and President for the North American Case Research Association (NACRA), and as Case Writing Track Chair and Chair of the Best Case Competition for the Decision Sciences Institute. Bill was the co-recipient of the Curtis E. Tate Jr. Outstanding Case Writer Award, the Emerson Award for the Outstanding Case in Business Ethics, and the Gold Award at NACRA. He is a Fellow of NACRA and the CASE Association.
